Just simply thank fucking god every day that nobody depends on you

This is a little rant I have to get off my chest.<br><br>At the moment I am studying for an exam in the coming weeks at university. It’s an absolute piece of shit to study for, but I have to push through. Every day I realize how much my life is in my own hands. I don’t have to worry about anybody but myself. I can do whatever the fuck I want, go wherever I want, and live wherever I want to. My entire life consists of going to class, work, gym, and coming home to play videogames or sleep. It is what it is.<br><br>Watching the way parents act, the way they reside over their children like overlords, and think they have the right to do anything to their children. They laugh at the idea of children having rights, and think they have this divine power to shape their child into whatever they want them to be. They think they have the authority to beat them, mock them, and push them to the edge of suicide. They think they’re above the law because they are too big of pussies to take responsibility for their own lives.<br><br>And guess what? They will never regret a single decision they made. They’ll never admit they were wrong, and they’ll always justify their horrible conduct because it “was for their own good”. They’ll never see their children as people but as things they own, and they will never see how fucked up their relationship is.
