AITA for not letting my brother and his girlfriend stay with me after I found out that she isn’t okay with the fact that I’m trans?

My brother and his girlfriend are having some work done on their house and it’s not livable for now. He asked if they could stay with me temporarily and I told him I was fine with it as long as he gave me advanced notice. <br><br>My SIL and I aren’t close but we aren’t enemies. She is the complete opposite of me politically and we disagree on a lot of things. I do try to keep the peace because I don’t want to make family gatherings awkward. I’m transmasc but I don’t often mention it besides using he/him pronouns and having short hair. I also don’t go out of my way to hide it. <br><br>My bro and his girlfriend are people that the less they know the better.<br><br>Last night my brother called me and said they’re done trying to find a place to stay and asked if they could move in with me as soon as possible. I was a little annoyed but said yeah they could and asked when they were planning on moving in. He said they’d be at my place in about an hour. <br><br>I agreed and started making the guest room up but something about the whole thing bugged me and I decided to call him back. I asked if he and his girlfriend were both okay with staying with me and he hesitated and then said that she wasn’t but she had no other options so she agreed. <br><br>I asked what she had a problem with and he said she wasn’t comfortable with the fact that I’m trans. This was honestly the last straw for me. I don’t want to live with someone who has a problem with me for stupid reasons. I’m already not a big fan of having people I don’t know well in my space and I just know that she’d make me uncomfortable the whole time she’s there. <br><br>So I told my brother that I’m not comfortable with them staying anymore. He was pissed and said that he was sure I could get over it for a couple of weeks but I said no. He told me that I was being selfish and I said that his girlfriend was being selfish too by only asking to stay with me as a last resort. <br><br>He got angry and called me an asshole and I hung up.
