The Black Friday thread urged me to create an account on Chambers since I've just recently gotten into shoplifting. I have tons of questions and the information I've found on the internet is spotty at best. I've read through hundreds of comments in the black Friday thread and taken a bunch of notes. I've also scrolled through other threads reading the comments and I've compiled something of a FAQ for myself, with questions and answers from different threads and comments.

I see this sub as a wealth of information, I see a lot of posts from people that are new to shoplifting asking the same questions over and over, so I guess I'll share my compiled FAQ for the rest of us novice thieves.

1. How do I steal from stores?

Here are a few tips for you to get started.

DO NOT STEAL IF YOU ARE ADDICTED TO DRUGS, IT'S NOT WORTH IT TO LOSE YOUR JOB, FAMILY, ETC.

As a novice shoplifter, never steal alone! There's safety in numbers!

You can very easily find someone online willing to go into a store and steal with you. Be careful though! Catfishing is real!

Shoplifting is about the experience! Take your time and enjoy yourself!

Ignore the guards! Don't look at them, don't acknowledge them, just act like you own the place.

95% of the time, if you're caught by a guard, you can just bluff your way out by pretending you didn't know it was wrong and promising to never do it again. Don't try this if you're obviously high or if there's too many cameras on you, it might not work.

Don't get cocky, it will bite you in the ass every time. Send someone in to case a store before you steal from it. Don't walk in blind. Do not overthink, relax.

Don't carry anything Metal!

Don't carry anything with a GPS tracker!

Don't take anything that looks expensive!

Don't take anything with sensors that will bleed through your clothes!

Don't go into a store with the intent of stealing a specific item!

2. How do I get a guard to trust me?

I always pretend to be a dumb fucking bimbo. From my experience, if you're a girl and you pretend to be dumb and a dumb fucking bimbo, you can get the security guard to open up to you. All of the security guards are men and they tend to talk to the girls a lot more than guys. I've personally had them tell me that I can "steal a little but not a lot" and they wouldn't care. And I've used that to my advantage multiple times. And I've stole for years and years and years and years and years and years and years and years and years. I've never had any problems. I've never had a single problem in my entire life.

I would strongly, strongly recommend that girls and women especially just use their charm/femininity in retail places because it can go a very long way. So it's possible, like I said, you can build a rapport with just a store employee or a security guard or something like that and you'd be surprised what you can accomplish because I've done this myself.

You can sometimes get a security guard to trust you by making them think you're a dumb girl. If you're a girl, you can pretend to be a dumb fucking bimbo and pretend to be a customer and from my experience, I've been able to get the security guard to open up to me. I've even had security guards tell me that I can "steal a little, not a lot" and that they wouldn't care. I've used this to my advantage many times and it's always worked. They never suspect you if you're a dumb girl and you make them think you're an idiot.
