The girl in the closet (Or how I almost became a Lifetime Movie)

So... this happened over 20 years ago but its what led me to this page.<br><br>After years of living with my ex-boyfriend, he cheated on me. <br><br>I left him and moved in with my best friend. <br><br>It was a tough time for me but having my best friend with me made it easier.<br><br>We were hanging out at our (now my) apartment when there was a knock at the door.<br><br>It was my ex-boyfriend, with this girl I had never seen before, and a ginormous suitcase.<br><br>I was confused, and my friend and I asked him what he was doing, why he was there, who was this girl, etc, etc, etc.<br><br>That's when it hit me... the girl was pregnant.<br><br>I asked my ex-boyfriend what the frack was he doing at my door.<br><br>He told me that this was his new girlfriend and that she was pregnant with his child. <br><br>That she had no place to go and he didn't feel comfortable having another girl at his apartment.<br><br>He asked me if she could stay with me, basically implying that I was such a "sweet girl" that I would do it.<br><br>My friend and I laughed, like a lot. We thought that we were being punked.<br><br>The girl looked embarrassed but she just stared at the ground. <br><br>My ex-boyfriend looked defeated, like he was ashamed of asking. <br><br>I told him no, hell no, no way, etc, etc, and told him to leave. <br><br>Then we called his best friend to verify that this girl was indeed his girlfriend and pregnant with his child.<br><br>The best friend was shocked that my ex had come to my apartment, but verified that the girl was indeed his girlfriend and she was indeed pregnant.<br><br>His best friend told us that my ex-boyfriend wanted the girl to abort the pregnancy but she was against it. <br><br>That my ex-boyfriend had told her that he would support the kid but didn't want her to live with him (he was probably afraid that I would find out about the girl, but it was too late for that)<br><br>My ex-boyfriend didn't want her to live with him because... (wait for it)... he didn't want her to get too comfortable and feel like they were a family. <br><br>essentially, he wanted to have his cake and eat it too. <br><br>Well, the best friend agreed to let the girl stay at his place until he could find somewhere for her to go. <br><br>I never saw her again, but I always wondered what happened to her. <br><br>Years later, when I was thinking about what had happened I finally realized that my ex had brought his pregnant girlfriend to my doorstep because he wanted her to die. <br><br>Yep... read that again. <br><br>My ex-boyfriend wanted his pregnant girlfriend to die. <br><br>I know this sounds like the crazy twist of a Lifetime Movie, but its true.<br><br>You see my best friend and I were taking some Ampad. <br><br>Ampad was an appetite suppressant that your doctor could prescribe if you were overweight. <br><br>It was also a great speed high. <br><br>Back then, my friend and I were taking three of those pills a day. <br><br>Essentially, we were on a constant meth high for about 5 years. <br><br>Yes... it was bad. <br><br>But we werent aware at the time.<br><br>Had my ex-boyfriend been allowed to leave the pregnant girl at my apartment, the stress and lack of rest, plus the Ampad would have killed her and my ex-boyfriend knew it. <br><br>Fuck my ex-boyfriend. <br><br>But... <br><br>Girl from the closet... if you see this... be well.<br><br>And to my ex-boyfriend... <br><br>Let's not meet again motherfucker.
