$1500/month bachelorette room in Seattle?

Everything is going to be relative, but I don't think $1500 was what I paid for rent in Seattle, sharing a house with 4 roommates. But it looks like it might be. Does anyone know of more affordable options? I'll be moving in the spring or summer. <br><br>Also, I know I have been asking a lot of basic questions. Sorry. I've been out of the dating pool for a while and I want to date as soon as possible, to minimize my chances of having to end my life. It's going to be in a pretty suburban area. It would make things a lot easier to have an apartment with a private room in a house with more people in it, so that I can date. Someone has suggested that if I watch for more recent posts, I will find more available options.
