Would you be annoyed if a man in a restaraunt had sushed you?

My son was on a date with some girl and she started acting really obnoxious. When his dad was finished with the meal, he told her to shut up. She sulked the whole time and started to say that she wasn’t a kid anymore. Is that okay?
