This may be a stupid question but what makes people want kids?

I honestly don’t get it. I could never see myself as a mom. Right now, I don’t think I’m focused enough to even have a pet. I know I’ll be a great aunt one day though!<br><br>Edit: I got some great comments about this. Thank you!
