When I'm powered, I'm in a relationship.

Something I've always noticed when I observed people around me is that when you're in a relationship or dating someone, you're more valuable to people.<br><br>I'm a very introverted and socially anxious person so I don't have a lot of friends and I'm mostly just a quiet observer and listener.<br><br>Whenever I've been in a relationship, everyone just seems to be way more interested in you.<br><br>People will try to talk to you more, try to be your friend, compliment you and give you attention.<br><br>But whenever you're single, they don't seem to care much and you're just a background person no one really pays attention to.<br><br>I've got a friend who's been single for a long time and has been saying he doesn't understand why he can't date anyone.<br><br>I think it's just because when you're single, no one cares about you and you're just forgotten and pushed to the side.<br><br>But whenever you're in a relationship, people will care and want to be your friend because they want to be close to your partner.<br><br>It takes being single for a long time to realize that no one really cares about you, and they only care when you're "on" or have status.
