What is the most famous / authenticated ancient proverbs and wisdom?

Seems like most sayings and proverbs we know about today originated anywhere from the 1600s and onwards. I’ve heard a few things that originated from ancient Greece, but is there anything that’s been recorded that’s older that’s survived to this day and is still known?
