Silent protest as a witch

This is an idea that occurred to me after US Democrats began conducting silent protests by not showing up for votes. <br><br>People often say witches are a silent minority. Witches are everywhere, and we are not.<br><br>Maybe it's time for some sort of nationwide protest or movement. A movement of silence. <br><br>We as witches don't have to be viewed as a silent minority, we can make ourselves one. <br><br>By participating in a silent protest, we can simply "Vanish". It would be an act of civil disobedience, by participating in civil obedience. Choosing not to participate in the world as it is. <br><br>Imagine waking up one morning, and half the North American population of humans just weren't there anymore. <br><br>No one quits their jobs. <br><br>Nobody doesn't pay their taxes. <br><br>Nobody fights back.<br><br>Nobody shows up to work. <br><br>Nobody goes to school. <br><br>Nobody shows up to church. <br><br>Nobody goes grocery shopping.<br><br>Nobody honks their car horn. <br><br>We all just silently stop participating. <br><br>If you are a Christian, then go to church and pray. <br><br>This isn't about Christians, it's about Christians who abuse their power. <br><br>If you are a secular atheist, then stay home and read books. <br><br>This isn't about atheists, this is about atheists who abuse their power. <br><br>If our government truly represented the people, then the people would show up. <br><br>If our employers paid us fair wages, then their employees would show up. <br><br>If our schools offered an education, then the students should show up. <br><br>If Christians obeyed the teaching of Christ, then their parishioners would show up. <br><br>If atheists acted in line with bandwagoning science, then the lab technicians would show up. <br><br>Nobody would be acting out of spite, or hate, or anger. <br><br>The true essence of a witch, is to be an observer. <br><br>So observe. <br><br>Observe the world. <br><br>Observe what is wrong with the world. <br><br>Silently observe, and silently vanish. <br><br>You're a witch, act like one.
