What’s the weirdest or most bizarre thing you’ve seen someone do while traveling?

I once knew someone who swore that if they sat in the middle seat in the middle row on a plane, they would have the least chance of dying when it crashes. So they would only sit in the middle seat in that row. Other rows were fair game, other seats in row were fair game, but with the caveat that they would rather die than go off the middle seat in the middle row.
