I just made a big change

Hello everyone. I am 37 years old, and up until this month I was working as a procurement specialist at a manufacturing plant. I was blessed to be able to earn a decent income, but the career and job did not align with my values. <br><br>I want you to understand that I want to be happy. I am not lazy, I’m tired. I’m tired of sitting at a desk for over 8 hours a day and taking a 30 minute lunch break. I want to align my life with what brings me joy. <br><br>After a 4 day drive out west and back, I realized I did not miss a single aspect of my job. By this I mean I didn’t miss the people I worked for or with, I did not miss the freedom of constant internet, I did not miss anything about the job or work in general. <br><br>I’m 37, and somehow I just figured this out. So I just put in my notice and am starting a small business. I am going to do handyman chores and odd jobs for a living.
