The only "fuck around, find out" scenario that's real is feminism, because we will fuck up society so bad that everyone will wish for the return of the good old patriarchy

Usually, it's the assholes who yell at women "if you want equal rights, you should do all the household chores too". Today, it was a "feminist" (female) telling me, a feminist (also female) that if I want equal pay, I should do all the household chores too. Her reason: men don't pay women to clean or cook.<br><br>It's not even that I don't want to do the household chores. I don't have a problem doing them. The problem is that when you live with another person, you should split the responsibilities of that household. It's been years since I've lived with a guy, but I remember we would take turns with the chores. Either we'd split them or we'd take turns doing them. For instance, I'll do all the groceries, but I won't sweep the floor. You'll buy the groceries next weekend, and then I'll sweep the floor.<br><br>It just feels like all these women who throw the "I don't get paid to clean" in our faces are patriarchal, drowning in internalized misogyny, or both.
