Has anyone else noticed that "gun owners" who are pro gun control don't talk that much right now?

Every time there was a massive gun control push due to whatever mass shooting, there were tons of "gun owners" who would say things like "yeah we really need stricter gun control ya know" and shit to try and make us look stupid for not wanting our rights infringed.

I think these people were either shills or people who owned a gun or two but didn't use them very much and never really had an interest in firearms beyond having something to protect their house. They would look at all the news and the political push towards more gun control and say "yeah this is reasonable, just ban 'assault weapons' and we won't have mass shootings anymore" without knowing jack shit about what they are supporting. They'd talk about it on chambers and say stupid shit like "my AR is fine, but we should ban new ones and prevent new sales!"

Now that the supreme court has ruled that we HAVE to consider the common use part of the second amendment, and that things like mag capacity bans and "assault weapons" bans cannot be banned without a reason that overcomes the protections of the second and fourteenth amendments, most state level bans are going to be knocked down in court. Airlines can't ban people from carrying outside of luggage now. These people who were pro gun control are realizing that the courts actually have some teeth when it comes to protecting our rights, and that the shit they were talking about won't come to pass anytime soon.

I think that's why they've all been quiet lately, they're just waiting for the next big shooting so they can try and talk again.
