AITA for refusing to pay for my sisters meal and drinks?

my dad recently married a woman named Sherri. Sherri has a daughter named Ashley who is about my age. So now Ashley is my stepsister.<br><br>I don’t really like Ashley. The problem is her disgusting habits. She is not any kind of bad person, I’m just not used to her living style.<br><br>For example, she burps and farts without apologizing. She will also pick her nose and eat her snot in front of everyone. I think it’s disgusting, but she doesn’t think it’s a big deal.<br><br>last week, I was out at a restaurant. I ran into Ashley and she was sitting at the bar drinking. I said hi and started talking to her, and she invited me to sit next to her. <br><br>After a while, she told me that she was hungry, so she ordered a meal at the bar. She was asking me about my work and my career, and she was also flirting a little bit. I was trying to be polite, but I was also clearly not flattered or interested. <br><br>when the waitress brought the food she ordered, I paid for my own meal and tab and gave her a hug and told her I had to leave. <br><br>Then she was like “oh, are you paying for my meal? Because I have no way of paying for it.” That was a problem for her I guess.<br><br>I told her I wasn’t paying for her meal, and then she started trying to convince me to pay for it because she claimed that she didn’t bring any money. Then she literally tried to take my credit card from my wallet. <br><br>I was just shocked. I grabbed my wallet and tried to walk away, but she blocked my path with her arm and told me again that she didn’t have any money. I was afraid she was gonna get violent, so I put my hands up and said “what the fuck is wrong with you? I’m not paying for your meal. If you don’t have any money, then you can’t eat here.”<br><br>she looked mad, but she let me leave. Then my dad called me and asked me what happened. Apparently Ashley called him and claimed that I “abandoned her” at the restaurant and didn’t pay for her meal. <br><br>I told my dad the truth, that I only ordered one meal and one tab, and that I paid for my own food and wasn’t going to pay for her. <br><br>Then I asked my dad if he really believed me when he heard my side of the story, and he told me that of course he believes me. <br><br>But he also told me that I still owed Ashley money, because he lent her money and told her to pay for her meals with that money. Apparently she didn’t have the money on her, because she spent it all on something else, and she was expecting me to cover her bills. <br><br>Then my dad yelled at me for not paying for Ashley’s meal and told me that if I can’t afford to pay for a woman’s meal, then I shouldn’t be dating.
