When I was in middle school, we were asked a strange question.

In our English class, we had a shower that asked this question on the last day:

If you were given the opportunity to go back in time and tell your parents something before you were born, what would it be?

The teacher in charge at the time, Miss Anna, wrote down everyone's answers and kept them in a box.

She told us that this question had been asked every year for the past twenty years. I think it was a bit strange, but I didn't care, I just wrote down my answer carelessly and handed it in with everyone else.

Twenty years have passed since then. It wasn't until I grew up and started a family of my own that I realized that we didn't receive our answers back.

It was Miss Anna who gave them to me when I met her again.

My answer was blank.

There was a faint sentence scrawled on the paper, but it was erased and couldn't be read.

I was intrigued and I asked how I had written such an answer, but Miss Anna only smiled and replied, "You were always a strange child."

It wasn't until a few days later that I finally remembered.

It was when I saw my daughter's face for the first time.

When I was in middle school, I met a beautiful girl named Emiko. She was the president of the school council and was known for being kind to everyone.

I was young and didn't know how to talk to her. I was so shy that I couldn't even say hello, and I almost didn't even go to school, the anxiety was so bad.

But when I met Miss Anna, she gave me some strange advice. She told me to imagine that I was in the womb, and that Emiko was my mother.

She said that if I was in the womb, I would be able to talk to her through my kicking. She told me to kick her in a way that would make my mother happy.

It was strange advice, but I did as I was told. Every day, I would imagine that I was in my mother's womb, kicking her happily.

And when I imagined, I actually kicked.

I didn't know it at the time, but Emiko was actually pregnant with our child at the time. She had been having a hard time deciding whether to keep the baby or not.

But when she felt the baby kick, she knew that she would never be able to abort it. Even if it was difficult, even if she had to raise the baby alone, she was determined to bring it into the world.

I don't know how Miss Anna knew that Emiko was pregnant, but I'm glad that she did.

I'm glad that I was able to kick my mother so hard.

I'm glad that our daughter was born into this world.

And as I hugged my daughter tightly, I finally remembered my answer.

I kicked my mother as hard as I could. I was happy that I could finally be born.
