Hey everyone, i’m a 28 year old female who’s in a deep funk of what career to pursue. I’m literally considering every single thing at this point. I am sick of feeling like I’m not making enough money. I’m kinda sick of feeling stuck and stagnant in my job.<br><br>I’ve always heard that sales roles and business development are very lucrative and lead to quick promotions and career advancement. I’m considering these type of roles and I need some advice.<br><br>Let’s say I get into business development or sales. Do I need to know how to code, know programming languages or how to do data analysis? How important is it to know about data analysis and coding when it comes to sales? <br><br>How do you get into a sales role? Do you get hired as a coordinator or assistant or something? I always hear those terms. <br><br>Lastly, when it comes to sales and business development, how hard is it to get promotions and move up the career ladder? I’ve heard some people say it’s quick, and others say it’s hard because of how competitive it is?<br><br>I’m also open to hearing about any other career paths that are high paying and offer career stability and upgrading.
