My wife always orders my food without asking me first

For the last 12 or so years, I have been vegan. I always let my wife know that when she orders food for me.<br><br>My wife and I are celebrating our 14th year anniversary and I wanted to do something special. I made a reservation at a high end steak house that my wife loves. I don't like steak but didn't want to just do a standard vegan restaurant for our anniversary. <br><br>My wife came to the table and I said to the waiter "I will have the grilled cheeseburger" and the waiter asked if I wanted to try the dry aged steak. I declined and said to my wife "Please order for me" and she did. <br><br>I order something vegan and my wife reminded me that I am no longer vegan. I asked her how she knew I was no longer vegan and if she had been paying attention to the way I have been eating she would know. I told her that I ordered something vegan because I haven't had a cheeseburger in 14 years and wanted to enjoy the one I ordered. <br><br>My wife started to get upset that I was arguing with her in public and I told her that I would no longer eat anything that she orders for me. <br><br>Now she is pissed at me and demanding answers as to why I was being so mean to her. I told her that she should pay attention to me and stop ordering food that I don't like. <br><br>I feel like my wife should pay attention to me and not order food that I dislike.
