Hello. How is everybody?

So, I finally fell off the sugar wagon over the weekend (8 months).

I had a bag of candy for my meeting on Saturday morning and then another bag of candy. I ate the first bag. Then I had a cookie. Then another. Then my friend had brought over another batch of cookies. I had a chocolate bar. A few more cookies. An ice cream cone with jesus christ's amount of chocolate chips. Then... I had a Kit Kat.

You guys have no idea how badly I wanted to go home and cook a healthy meal.

And that's exactly what I did.

I meal prepped 2 weeks worth of food. Made a bit of braai sauce to have a butter chicken on Sunday.

I was immediately much better.

I was only initially lightheaded, but didn't get a stomach ache or any heartburn.

I was a bit hungover, but that's normal.

I had a few cookies yesterday when I got home from work, but was in control. It was just a few.

I was really disappointed. I thought I was too far gone to fall off the wagon, but it just goes to show that you're always vulnerable.

I've decided to drop my sugar intake by one portion size a week to find my ideal 0 point.

Then I'll be able to indulge when I want without feeling like I've fallen off the wagon.

I want to be able to eat sugar when the time comes... but I don't want to be controlled by it.

I wish you all the best. You are amazing. Love yourself as you are. xoxo
