I was a kid when I first heard of aliens and UFO stories, and I was so excited at the idea of meeting them and being an alien contactee like Betty and Barney Hill. I felt like it was the most exciting thing to happen to a human ever, like winning the jackpot. Even though it would probably be a terrifying experience, I felt it was worth it for the opportunity.
