(1) Twitter isn't the real world

And we're losing to the left where it counts, in the political arena.<br><br>The left is dominating the political arena because they are better at organizing and engaging with people at the grassroots level, and they have a lot of energy.<br><br>Conservatives have a number of strengths too, but we need to acknowledge that the left is a lot better at a lot of things. The right can learn from the left, and we will have to if we are going to be successful.<br><br>We need to be willing to change and try new approaches, rather than just suffering defeat after defeat and then complaining about how it isn't fair.<br><br>The left has better messaging, better social media strategy, and better ground game. We can learn from all of that, or we can lose.<br><br>The left hasn't learned yet how to win a real civil war, but they are getting ready. We need to take the initiative, and get ahead of them. We can't just be strategically reactive, we need to be winning the political and social battles, so we don't have to fight the civil war that the left is pushing for.<br><br>We will need to get better at winning hearts and minds, and then we'll need to get better at organizing politically. Then we'll be able to take the initiative in deciding the political future of our country.<br><br>We need to focus on winning where it counts, rather than just getting dopamine hits from pointing out obvious truths on Twitter.
