I just wanted to start by saying thank you. Thank you to every single one of you, for being here. For filtering out the noise and giving me the best advice on how to live my life. Thank you to the moderators, who are doing an excellent job in making this community that much better. Thank you to the hundreds of people who comment each and every day, who take time out of their day to help others improve their lives.

I discovered this sub back in May 2020, and since then, my life has changed beyond belief.

I'm a 19 year old software engineer, and I was always this average guy who was extremely spontaneous. I was always doing the bare minimum and never really took control of my life. I went through each day, without any sort of purpose, and always felt empty.

But the moment I joined this community, I knew that something had to change.

I read every single post, every single comment, that I could find. I just filtering out the noise. I discarded all the advice that I didn't find useful, and invested all my energy into the advice that I felt like would genuinely make a difference. I took control of my life, and decided to make a change.

I started small. I took control of my mental health, and started looking after my body. I started to eat better, to exercise more, to sleep better. I completely stopped consuming alcohol, and completely cut out fast food. I started to read books, to learn more about the world, to become more aware, to become wiser.

I completely renovated my entire room. I completely threw out all my possessions that I didn't need, and I started to live more minimalist. I invested my money into the things that genuinely made a difference to my life. I invested into plants, into books, into a comfortable mattress. I started putting money away into my savings, to use for the things that genuinely matter.

I completely changed my outlook on relationships. I completely cut out all the friends that weren't good for me, and I completely surrounded myself with people who genuinely cared for me. I made so many new friends this year, who have helped me to evolve into a better person. I completely deleted all my social media accounts, because I realised social media had been holding me back. I completely stopped comparing myself to others, and I started doing my own thing.

I completely transformed my relationship with money. I completely cancelled all my subscriptions, and completely threw out all the things that I genuinely didn't need. I completely threw out my video games, my television, even my car. I completely changed my entire relationship with money, and completely took control of my finances.

I completely transformed my career. I completely discarded all my bad habits, that were preventing me from getting things done. I completely started to take control of my tasks, to completely discard procrastination, and that completely changed my life. I completely took control of my workflow, and completely started to manage my time more effectively. I completely threw out all the things that were preventing me from doing my best work, and completely surrounded myself with people who genuinely believed in me.

I completely changed my outlook on productivity. I completely threw out all the tools that I had been using to make myself less productive. I completely threw out video games, completely threw out social media, completely threw out email, and completely surrounded myself with the tools that genuinely helped me to get things done. I bought a typewriter, a notebook, a briefcase, and completely started to live a more minimalist life. I completely started to focus, to really focus, on doing my best work. And that completely changed my life.

In conclusion, my life has completely changed this year. I feel like I've finally found my purpose, and I honestly couldn't be happier. Every day, when I wake up, I'm really grateful for everything that I have. I'm grateful for all the lessons that I have learnt, for all the relationships that I have created, for all the lessons that I have learned.

No matter what happens tomorrow, I can honestly say that I lived my life to the fullest. I lived every day to the fullest, and I can honestly say that I'm not afraid to die. I'm not afraid to die, because I know that I did what I had to do. I did everything that I could, to be my best self, and to live my best life.

And for that, I am eternally grateful.

So thank you, thank you all, for helping me to evolve into a better person. Thank you all for making this community happen, for helping me to improve my life, for helping me to evolve into a better person.

I am forever grateful to all of you.

Thank you so much.

Edit 1: Thank you for the rewards.

I would like to just say that this has not been written for any personal gain, but for selfish reasons. I wanted to create a post that I could come back to during the tough times, for motivation.

Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to read this post.
