Men who actually do 50% of the chores in the house, how do you get out of doing 100% of the chores and only doing 50%?

I've found in my past relationships that if I don't do all of the housework it's filthy, but if I hire cleaning services it seems like I'm attacking my partner when that's not my intention at all.
