ELI5: Who is Hunter Biden, why is he all over the news, and why is he important to the U.S. election of 2020?

Basic internet search shows a few things to be true, <br>1. Hunter Biden is Joe Biden’s son, his dad, the former VP of the U.S., is running for president of the U.S.<br>2. Hunter walked a gun into a gun store, without filling out the paperwork for a background check, and was denied sale of a gun.<br>3. Hunter Biden had an affair with his brother’s widow.<br>4. He also had an affair with someone else and had a child, and is now paying child support.<br>5. He has had a history of drug use.<br>6. Ukraine hired him in Nov 2014. They paid him $50,000/month. He has no experience as a consultant.<br>7. The U.S. government was about to give Ukraine $1B in aid. Ukraine had to meet certain criteria. In order to meet the criteria, Ukraine had to fire a prosecutor that was investigating corruption. Hunter Biden was the guy they were investigating. Ukraine fired the prosecutor two months later, in Dec 2014.<br>8. Hunter Biden, with zero experience, magically got a job with a Chinese bank or investment company or something for $90K/month in July 2019. <br><br>Is it that simple? Is this an actual concern for voters, or is this more smoke and mirrors and lies?
