It’s time to falsely and publicly accuse powerful white men of sexual assault.

I just read a comment on Chambers that said “I’m not a feminist anymore. I’m just a woman who judges people as individuals.”<br><br>What this woman and many others don’t seem to understand is that the patriarchy is an institutionalised system - everything that we do is heavily influenced by it, and there are things about it that we can’t see because we are so embedded in it. <br><br>For example, if J.K. Rowling, covered in the blood of Palestinian children, is tweeting out her ‘concerns’ about women’s safety, then I can guarantee you that she is being backed by a massive structural machine of misogyny and white supremacy - the patriarchy.<br><br>Similarly, if you believe that the women coming forward about Weinstein/Trump/etc were lying - then you are a victim of the patriarchy’s abuse. <br><br>**If your words and actions are helping and protecting powerful white men, then you are helping and protecting the patriarchy.**<br><br>No peace.<br><br>Edit: I said this for shock value, let me make it clear this isn’t something that I actually want people to do. <br><br>I want people to focus on condemning the men that have been accused, because the patriarchy has already convinced so many of us that these innocent women are liars.<br><br>I want people to publicly express solidarity with the victims, and to have discussions about how we can prevent this from happening in the future.
