My wife bought her wedding dress yesterday.

My (23/f) husband (24/m) and I met when we were 15 years old. We decided to rush and get married when my husband told me he’s enlisting. It was on a whim, with no intentions of having an elaborate wedding, but we don’t care.<br><br>She bought this dress for $12 that my mother-in-law found for her that is perfect for her and our small ceremony that we are having. We are probably going to have only close family and friends there and no one outside of that tiny circle.<br><br>I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone look more beautiful than she did when she put on the dress for a second and just looked in the mirror. She had no makeup on and her hair was tied back. She told me that she was going to get it professionally cleaned but that probably won’t be ready until next week but she couldn’t wait. She was just so excited.<br><br>I know this may sound crazy but I have always wanted my wedding to be simple and not a big production. I knew from the moment I met her that she was going to be the only person I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. When I told her that, she started crying, probably because she said something similar to me too.<br><br>After she put on the dress, she wanted me to see it and I was already crying a little when I walked into the room. She looked so beautiful. She had no makeup on, no hairspray or anything that is normally going to be the standard at all marriages but she was the prettiest girl I’ve ever seen. I was already in love with her when I met her but that moment when she put on that dress made me happier and more in love with her than I thought I have ever been.<br><br>I’m probably going to love her for the rest of my life.
