$600 stimulus checks

Looks like Congress is going for $600 stimulus checks. My wife, 2 kids and I have all been out of work since march, and yes received pua, but they didn’t pass anything since April. This is just not enough. I know the government can’t keep paying us for ever, but it feels like they’re making this modicum of an effort so they can say they tried but they don’t want to give us enough to actually feel the relief we need. What are your thoughts on this?
