Are you an economist? What's your actual opinion on universal healthcare?

I can't stand the politicians from either side talking about how the other sides opinion on a topic is wrong, and I assume the best way to learn is asking the experts. I'm sure opinions among economists will vary, but what do you think is the best system as an actual economics student/professional?
