Why are so many of us witnessing this thing?

I've been reading about "glitches in the matrix" for months now. I'm not going crazy and neither are you. Why are we witnessing all of this? Is it to wake us up to reality? To get us to dream bigger? To make us realize that anything is possible? To teach us the true nature of reality? Or do the powers that be want us to know about this? I'm just wondering.
