$5 over the counter pill destroyed my best friend

The pill was called DXM (Dextromethorphan). It’s a cheap temp over the counter drug you can buy at Walmart. Most people who take it rave about it. I saw my best friend take the pill (3 pills actually) and then the next morning he was completely different. He started acting crazy. He was angry and frustrated for no reason and it took him 2 days to completely come back to himself. The craziest part is that I’ve never seen him act like that ever before. He’s one of the kindest and calmest people I know. Seeing him act like that was weird but it didn’t dawn on me how much it hurt him so much. He was crying about it in the car. He didn’t know what was happening, he had no control over it. And the worst part is he doesn’t even remember it. <br><br>Everyone, please be careful with what you put in your body. <br><br>Please be careful when taking your prescriptions. <br><br>Please be careful when taking recreational drugs. <br><br>Please do your research. <br><br>Please be careful. <br><br>This isn’t a story of a junkie who took a pill he knew was dangerous and screwed himself over. This wasn’t a pill someone sold him, this was a pill he bought over the counter. He is a normal, working class citizen who considers himself an angel. He doesn’t do drugs, doesn’t smoke or drink. He’s the calmest person I’ve ever met. The fact that it could have so much of an affect on him just goes to show how careful we really need to be.<br><br>This is a warning. I love all of you.
