Warning: This one is graphic. I was 24f. I'm 34 now. 10 yrs has gone by but it still bothers me.

It started by a few guys asking me out and I said no, but one of them asked me out again a few days later and I gave him a chance. He asked me to come hang out with just him for a day and said he wanted to take me to an abandoned house that he was fixing up so he could sell it.

I had never been in a situation like this in my life. I had never been a damsel in distress. I'm not sure why I never listened to my intuition with this guy. I think I just didn't know how to say no. It was such a dumb mistake.

So I went. I rode in the front seat of his car. I didn't text my friends to tell them where I was going. I didn't leave anything at home to tell anyone where I was going. I just left.

I didn't recognize the street we went down. It was nice and there were houses lined up like a typical neighborhood. After about a 30 minute drive we got to the house he was talking about. It was a nice two-story house in the middle of...no where. There were no houses, or cars in sight.

He showed me around the house and described the changes he would make to it. I acted interested and ready to see the changes in action as he showed me room by room. He showed me an empty room he said would be a bedroom and then he shut and locked the door.

"Aww, what the fuck?!" I said.

"Don't worry about it, okay?" He said.

He told me to sit in the corner of the room and said he'd be back. It was dark already, so I couldn't even see around the room well. I heard footsteps outside of the door, and then I heard voices. I heard a guy and a girl yelling.

The girl was screaming at the top of her lungs. I could hear Glass shattering. The guy was yelling back at her and there was just a mad knocking around and stuff. It sounded like a fight. I heard the girl wailing. And sobbing.

At one point the guy was right outside the door and was yelling "YOU DO NOT WANT TO TRY AND ESCAPE!" And the girl just wailed even louder then cackled maniacally.

I can't even remember how long I heard her, but I had decided to just wait it out and not draw attention to myself. At one point I heard the front door open and close and then it was quiet.

Then I heard the footsteps. I heard the guy coming down the hall. He opened the door and stopped in the doorway. He stared at me, then shut the door and walked away.

I heard him coming back down the hallway again and when he opened the door he had a piece of white rope in his hand. He stared at me again, then shut the door and left again. I heard a door open and shut in the hallway.

The house was big so I had no idea where anyone was but I knew there was a girl somewhere. I heard footsteps coming down the hallway again and this time I could see a girl with short black hair following closely behind him. She looked angry and was looking at the floor.

He stopped in front of me and tossed the rope on the ground at my feet. "Tie your ankles to the floor," he said. Then he said, "You're going to have to stay here for a little while."

The girl looked up at me as the guy walked away and she mouthed to me, "We are both going to die." Then she walked away.

I sat there and thought for a long time. I couldn't hear any movement in the house. And I had to pee. I decided to untie my ankles and run for it. I had never been in a situation like this but I had a lot of hope and faith that I could get out alive.

I slowly untied my ankles and I made it to the door. I took a deep breath and ran. I ran through the living room and dining room. I could hear the back door and I could see it. I heard him right behind me yelling at me to stop.

I reached the door and turned the knob, flung it open and ran outside. I reached into my pocket for my phone and realized I didn't have it. I looked to my right for my car and realized I didn't drive.

I saw the girl with short black hair in the front yard. She was standing near a car and she was sans the guy. I started to run toward her and she yelled, "SHE WAS MY FRIEND! YOU TAKE HER PLACE!"

I saw her pull out a knife and she started running toward me. I still had the back door open and I doubled back and slammed and locked the door. I ran through the house, jumped over the couch and ran into the kitchen. I ran through the house hoping to find a room with a lock.

I ran into a room and shut and locked the door. I looked around for a phone. There was nothing but a twin bed. I heard the guy coming down the hallway again and he tried to open the door.

He jiggled the handle and then he ran into the door. I heard the girl coming down the hallway. I heard her yelling "SHE WAS MY FRIEND!" Over and over.

I heard him run into the door again and it cracked. I stood up and ran into the door and I put my shoulders against it. I looked at the bed and I lifted it up and put it against the door.

I heard him run into the door again and I felt the force. I put my body against it and I felt the door crack more. So I grabbed the mattress and I put it up against the door. The girl was right outside of the door now and she was screaming that she was going to stab me.

I heard footsteps again. I was bracing myself and I was ready to hold that shit in place. I heard his footsteps right outside of the door and then I heard him run into it. The door opened a little bit and the guy got his arm inside.

I pulled on the door really hard and his arm got stuck. I pulled on it and I heard him yelling outside. The girl started screaming too. I heard her yelling "YOU MURDERED MY FRIEND!" and at that moment I heard a car pull up.

Then everything was silent.

The guy tried to open the door again but it didn't budge. He tried twice. Then I heard footsteps and the front door open and shut. I heard the car pull away.

I opened the door slowly and peeked down the hallway. I didn't see anyone. I walked slowly down the hallway, looking in every room. I didn't see anyone. So I ran to the front door and opened it and ran to the car that was driving up.

The guy got out and asked me if I was okay. I explained what happened. He said he was doing rounds around the neighborhood and saw a girl running out of the house.

He drove me to the police station and I gave a full report. They never found anyone. Never even had a lead. I never heard from him again. I still wonder what would have happened to me if that guy didn't drive by that house. I wonder what happened to the girl in the house.
