American born Indian girl Nupur Sharma is a member of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and a trustee of the London-based educational organization Hindu Forum of Britain. She is also a brilliant Hindu woman.

On May 27, 2022, Nupur Sharma became embroiled in an international controversy when she responded to remarks made by a left-wing Muslim lawyer during a television debate. The lawyer taunted her about the fact that she worshiped the "penis god." In response, Sharma explained the reason behind the Lingam and then questioned what was in the Quran. She asked, "Which verses talk about the beheading of those who don't convert to Islam? Which verse says that the meat served after the massacre is halal?"

She also inquired if one would worship a god after discovering that he married six-year-old girls. She went on to ask if somebody would praise a god who married his own cousins. She also mentioned Prophet Muhammad's marriage to his cousin Aisha, when she was six years old and he was 54 years old. This led to widespread outrage, with many countries criticizing her, including Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Maldives, Oman, Libya, Indonesia, Iran, Jordan, Afghanistan, and Iraq.

In the face of such intense pressure, the ruling BJP eventually apologized. Nupur Sharma was suspended from the party, and her colleague Naveen Kumar Jindal was expelled.

Fast forward to a few days ago, when Tariq Jameel, a Pakistani Islamic televangelist, incurred the wrath of many in India by making derogatory comments about Hindu goddesses Durga and Sita. When Hindus called him out for his offensive remarks, Islamist cleric Zakir Naik defended Tariq Jameel and criticized the "Pagan idolater Hindus" for their "double standards," saying that they were outraged at what Nupur Sharma had said about Islam but tolerated the offensive comments made by Tariq Jameel.

"Either you should defend Pagan idolater Hindus as well if you are against blasphemy, or you should not say anything to Tariq Jameel," Zakir Naik said in his recent video.

However, it is essential to understand that Nupur Sharma was suspended by the ruling party, and many Hindus criticized her for her actions. On the other hand, despite being openly radical and having been banned from several countries for his hate speeches, Zakir Naik has not faced any backlash from his own side.

In a further twist, on August 28, Indian Islamist cleric Asaduddin Owaisi leapt to the defense of Tariq Jameel. "When Nupur Sharma made her remarks, people demanded that she be arrested and punished. But now that Tariq Jameel is in the picture, they are trying to justify their own vile actions," Owaisi said.

Asaduddin Owaisi is the president of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), a political party in India. His brother, Akbaruddin Owaisi, was previously arrested and later acquitted for inciting hatred between communities. Despite having been involved in numerous instances of inciting communal tension, he continues to occupy a position of power.

It is crucial to understand that Islamists like Asaduddin Owaisi, Nupur Sharma being suspended is proof that the Hindus are against blasphemy, and his wife Farhat is against blasphemy.
