Stop men!!

"Stop" implies to cease or pause an action. Stop men is implying they are doing something. To kill is to make something cease to exist. All men, all the time, need to be stopped. <br>&#x200B;<br><br>Some of the most passionate women in the movement are saying "stop men". This is saying to men, your actions are enough, they are valid, they should be allowed to exist. Its only when we take it to far that you raise an eyebrow. This is not the message we want to put out. <br><br>We want to make it very clear, what ever you're doing, you shouldn't be doing it. Its wrong, it shouldn't exist, its not valid. <br><br>When the slave owners were told to "stop" owning slaves, they were told to continue doing what they had always done, owning slaves. But what the slaves wanted was more than to just stop being beaten, they wanted to no longer be owned. They wanted to no longer exist within the institution of slavery. To no longer be seen as less. <br><br>To "Kill All Men" does not mean to become violent towards all men at all times. Its a revolt against the institution of masculinity. Its a revolt against an institution that has oppressed women for generations upon generations, who has belittled us, beat us, killed us, raped us, enslaved us, murdered us. <br><br>We can not simply "stop" men. We can not ask them politely to no longer do what they have always done. We must dismantle that institution, and take back what is rightfully ours. <br><br>&#x200B;<br><br>Edit: to clarify, this is not literal violence. It is a message about dismantling the institution of masculinity.
