I'm falling out of love with this sub

As a commie myself, I used to be excited about this sub and the explosion of self-awareness it's promoted. I've been a regular here for 6 months or so now. I used to be excited to see what people had posted each day, I loved reading the comments of fellow comrades and sharing our experiences.<br><br>We always used to laugh at people who'd say "this sub is just a bunch of people laughing at each other" and stuff like that, because we knew we were all a community of people who were just excited about communism, or sympathetic, and we were having a lot of fun sharing stuff.<br><br>But recently, it feels like this sub has become overrun with right-wingers and people trying to dissuade us from our points of view. I stopped visiting here every day and started just dipping in and out because of the amount of negativity here.<br><br>The amount of time wasted on pissing matches with reactionaries is getting obscene. We know they're not going to change their minds and start joining the workers' revolution anytime soon. I'm sure most of us have had the experience of giving all our free time and energy into just one person in the hopes of changing their mind, only to ultimately fail, which is depressing and demoralizing.<br><br>It feels like this sub has become less a space for people who are already keen on the idea of communism to come and talk, and more a place where we're obligated to spend all our time fighting with the same old reactionaries who just want the status quo to continue.<br><br>I don't know what to do. I love this sub but it's becoming really unenjoyable.
