I'm an Israeli. Do I want peace? I'd rather have my mother back than peace. I don't see an end to it. I know that the overall sentiment of the world is that Palestinians are the victims. I know that for the most part, it's a lie, but I also see where it's coming from. The news loves to show the horrors of war, and it loves to show us as the villain.

Thanks to the news, the internet, and the general hate trend, I can no longer say that I've never met a person that hates Israel, it's a regular occurrence now.

What can Israel realistically do to show that our intent is not to harm innocent Palestinians, and that we are not the villains that we are painted to be by the media? Or perhaps the question should be, what can we realistically do to end this cycle of violence in the most peaceful way possible?

Edit: I didn't expect this post to blow up, and I also didn't expect that not a single comment would be from a palestinian. I know that no one here hates palestinians, and that this is a pro-Israel sub. However, I was curious to hear the viewpoint from the other side. I would like to see that viewpoint, even if it's not a popular one on this sub. If you have an opinion on the matter, I'd be happy to hear from you.
