Was Jimmy Dore right about the recent ordeal with Kyle Rittenhouse and the media?

On Jimmy Dore’s show he talked about how the media started calling Kyle Rittenhouse white just because he wasn’t a registered democrat after the media did the opposite thing with Ahmaud Arbery who was black. Was he right? I just want to know if he was right or not.
