Hi. I’ve decided to put together this cutting knowledge based off my own experiences. I’ve boosted over $300,000 in my life and only been caught 4 times. While this is no where near the most, I think it’s a good idea to tell you all a little about my experiences. I’ve boosted for 4 years now, and I’ve learned a lot. I’ve boosted Home Depot, Walmart, Target, and more. I usually stick to Home Depot however, and I will go into detail on a few things that I think would be beneficial to know.

1. It really doesn’t matter how much you steal. I use to think that the more you steal, the bigger the punishment will be...... this isn’t true. I’ve stolen $150 from Walmart and been let off with a warning, meanwhile I’ve stolen $10,000 from Home Depot and been arrested, charged with a felony, and walked out of the store that day with nothing but a court date. While it is true that you will get more time in jail at the police station, they wont add more time on to your sentencing.

2. Act normal. This is the most important thing. You can walk around a store with 50 pounds of stuff on you and nobody will bat an eye as long as you walk normal. Don’t look over your shoulder, dont look at cameras, don’t look at the people around you. Walk like your doing your Sunday shopping. I’ve literally walked right past an ex cop who was working at Home Depot, and he couldn’t do anything because I looked like I owned the place.

3. If you get caught, be quiet. Your best bet is to say nothing at all. I’ve gotten out of a felony charge from this. They can’t pin anything on you if you don’t say anything. If you admit to boosting, you’re pretty much fucked. Don’t answer any questions, keep your head down and shut your mouth.

4. Learn about the laws in your state. Recently, shoplifting laws changed where I live. I used to be able to boost $1000 worth of stuff and only be charged with a misdemeanor, now I’m charged with a felony on anything $500 or over. Knowing the laws is extremely important. Know what you’re risking and what you will get in return.

5. A lot of people on this sub ask about what to boost, when the reality is that anything sells. I’ve sold dog shit for god sakes, people will literally buy anything. The most important thing is to not boost random ass shit. If you boost random items, nobody will want to buy it from you. Get items that people will actually use like tools, light bulbs, weed stuff, LEGO sets, etc. These are the things that people use, and are easier to sell. You get back more than you expect, and it doesn’t just have to be for personal use.

6. Boosting alone is better than with someone. I’ve never had a problem boosting alone, but every time that I’ve boosted with someone, I’ve been caught. It’s still fun to boost with a buddy, just be more cautious.

7. No store is the same. You can’t walk into Walmart acting like you own the place and expect to not get caught. Every store has it’s own way of doing things. I can walk into Home Depot without a problem, but I’ve been caught at Walmart just for carrying a basket.

8. Watch for cameras. Nobody likes to be on camera, especially when you’re boosting. I’ve been banned from multiple stores for being caught on camera, and I got a very scary message from Target threatening to sue me for $5000 if I was caught again. Try your best to stay away from cameras, but it’s not the end of the world if you are.

9. If you get caught, just accept it. The worst thing you can do when you get caught is fight back. I’ve seen people get tazed, beat, pepper sprayed, and shot. It’s literally not worth it. You can put all of that behind you, but you can’t put a bullet wound behind you. If you get caught, suck it up and deal with it. Don’t fight, don’t struggle, don’t try and run, just cooperate.

This is my cutting knowledge, I hope it’s beneficial to someone.
