I don't want to be a writer

I did creative writing in school my whole life, and I just assumed that I wanted to be a writer. But as I got closer to graduating I realized I had no interest in stories, characters, dialogue, or plot progression. I realized that what made me love writing was the actual writing; the action of choosing the right words to convey my thoughts, and how to put my ideas into coherent sentences. I enjoy writing in general, just not fiction.

This is a problem, because writing as a career field is dominated by fiction and academic writing. I've never really seen a job just for a writer, all writing jobs require a lot of other skills. Is there any career path for me if I just want to write?
