In my opinion, as a teacher and as a professor, there is absolutely no valid reason as to why you should skip a class or a lecture at school. If you are going to be doing stuff on your phone, such as browsing social media, texting, or playing music, you are wasting your time. When I'm done with this post, you will be convinced not to skip your classes again.

**Why You Shouldn't Skip Your Classes**

**#1: The Obvious - Losing Your Money**

When you skip a class, you're losing money. You're paying for a service that you're not getting. Skipping a class is the same as paying for a movie ticket but not watching the movie. It makes absolutely no sense, and it's terrible that a lot of students are doing this. You're losing your money, and you're not getting anything out of it.

**#2: It's Better to Just Drop the Class**

If you aren't going to class, you should just drop the class altogether. It makes no sense to be enrolled in a class that you're not going to. You're wasting your time and your money, and you're not going to get anything out of it. As a professor, I see a lot of students skipping classes. The reality is that most of them end up failing that class. If you're not going to a class, there is no valid reason as to why you shouldn't just drop it.

**#3: You're Wasting Your Time**

Students that skip classes are also wasting their time. They're not going to class, they're not studying, and they're not doing anything productive. You're essentially just wasting your time. If you can skip a class and just do stuff on your phone, you're just wasting your time. There are better things you could be doing than just wasting your time.

**#4: It's Better to Just Stay Home**

If you are going to skip all your classes, it's better to just stay home. Students that skip classes can just stay home and study from home. They would save money on gas and they would save time by not having to commute. They would get more work done, and they would be able to study a lot easier from the comfort of their own home. If you're not going to a class, it's better to just stay home and study.

**#5: You're Disrupting the Class**

Students that skip classes disrupt the class. When you skip a class, you're disrupting the class. You're not getting anything out of the class, and you're making it harder for everyone else to focus. When you skip a class, you're disrupting the class and you're making it harder for other students to focus.

**#6: You're Not Getting Anything Out of It**

When you skip a class, you're not getting anything out of it. You're not getting anything out of it if you're skipping a class. You're not getting anything out of it if you're on your phone in class. In fact, if you're on your phone in class, you're probably getting less out of it than the students that skip class. You're not paying attention, and you're not getting anything out of it.

**#7: You're Cheating Yourself**

When you skip a class, you're cheating yourself. You're cheating yourself by skipping classes. You're not getting anything out of it, and you're not giving yourself the best chance at succeeding. You're also cheating yourself out of a good education. You're cheating yourself out of a chance at getting good grades. You're cheating yourself by skipping classes.

**#8: It's Better to Just Get a Job**

If you're skipping classes, you're not really in college. If you're not going to classes, you're not really in college. You're probably just on campus to hang out with your friends. If you're skipping classes, it's probably better to just get a job. You're not getting anything out of your classes, and you're not really in college. You might as well just get a job and earn some money.

**#9: It's Just Plain Lazy**

Skipping classes is just plain lazy. Skipping classes is just plain lazy. There is no excuse for skipping classes. If you're skipping classes, you're just plain lazy. You're not putting in any effort, and you're not giving yourself the best chance at succeeding. You're just plain lazy if you're skipping classes.

**#10: You'll Regret It**

If you skip classes, you'll regret it. If you skip classes, you'll regret it. You'll regret not giving yourself the best chance at succeeding. You'll regret not getting good grades. You'll regret not putting in enough effort. If you skip classes, you'll regret it.

**In Conclusion**

As you can see, there is no valid reason as to why you should skip your classes.
