Why don't more guys date chubby girls?

I'm a chubby girl, 5'4, 160ish. I've always kind of assumed I'm overweight, and weight loss has always been on my mind. But seeing some of the posts in this sub of guys dating girls who are heavier than me has made me realize maybe I'm not as overweight as I thought. I don't want to lose weight. The thought of counting calories and dieting exhausts me. I've never had a problem with my weight because I've always been pretty confident in my appearance and I understand and accept I am overweight. <br><br>But now I'm wondering, guys, why don't you ask out the chubby girls? I've never been on a date with a guy I didn't ask out. I've been asked out, but I'm always the one who initiated the relationship. I'm wondering if this is in part because I'm chubby. We women always see the posts "why don't more girls date chubby guys" and I wonder if this is a two-way street. After seeing some of the posts of you guys dating girls at or above my weight I'm wondering if I might be underestimating my attractiveness. Do you guys not ask out chubby girls as often because we seem less confident in our bodies? I have always felt fine with my body but lately, I've been wondering. <br><br>TL;DR I wonder if guys avoid asking chubby girls out because we seem less confident.
