Once I learn to code, am I more likely to be able to find a job once I graduate?

My major isn’t in a high demand field. I knew that going into it. However, I am about 1.5 semesters away from graduating. After I graduate, I am thinking about taking a few months to teach myself how to code. I know that there’s a few coding boot camps, but I’m not the best test-taker, so I’m rather skeptical about using one of those. <br>I know on top of learning to code, I will also have to learn how to network and do resume-building, but it seems that people with coding skills are in high demand and are always needed. If I learn to code, would I be more likely to get a good job with good paying opportunities? Thanks for answering my question.
