I live in a condo in Seattle and have a neighbor across the street who I’m sure isn’t financially bad off by any means.
He owns a boat that sits in his driveway all the time, a huge trailer that he parks on his street that has a huge tent on it for their camping trips, one car for his wife, one car for him, and two more that I’m sure are for their kids.
I don’t know how people can think this is justifiable.
The entire street is a sadness because everyone drives up and down it so fast and I’m surprised nobody has run into any of the cars parked along the streets.
I used to feel sorry for myself because I grew up in a poor household and had to work multiple jobs my entire life to get to where I am now, but man, when I see this it makes me feel so sorry for anyone else who does have money and waste it on useless junk.
