app idea

My idea is an app that helps people make friends at school. <br><br>Description:<br><br>I was a high schooler not that long ago and I remember how difficult it was to make friends or find people that you have similar interests in. Even if you join a club, it’s difficult to branch out and meet new people sometimes. So I had the idea for an app that let’s you create an online account and then searches the database to find people that have similar interests as you. Then it sends you the people that it finds, so you can view their profiles, like the ones you see in pictures. Each person can have a background image with maybe a selfie or something, and it has a list of all things they like doing or interests, and maybe a little paragraph about the person. I was thinking maybe you can even add people to a group chat so it’s easy to meet new people, or just private message them. <br><br>I think this concept could definitely be used with other groups of people, like people in the same workplace or whatever.
