What is the creepiest thing that has happened to you while alone at your house?

I had a weird experience last night and it freaked me out. <br>I live alone with my dog and I’m a very paranoid person. I have a 3 bedroom house and I was sitting in my room when I heard my dog whine. He doesn’t whine often so I decided to check if everything is okay. <br>I go to the living room and my door is wide open. I know I closed it so I thought it was weird. I checked my front door and it was closed and locked. I still had a weird feeling and decided to go check around the house. I go to the kitchen and I see my back door wide open. I know I closed it and I’m sure of it. <br><br>I didn’t see anyone but I had the feeling someone was in my house. I grabbed my gun and started checking the house. When I was checking I noticed my guest bedroom window was open. Again, I know I closed it. <br>I started freaking out so I called the police. They came and we searched the whole house but didn’t find anyone. <br>I’m really shaken up and I don’t know what to do. I don’t feel comfortable anymore and I don’t know how they got in my house. <br><br>So what creepy things have happened to you?
