My job that requires me to travel is going to make me vaccinated. This will keep me out of the country for months and it will be a long time before I get to see my family again, I feel like I'm being forced into a decision.

This position I have, it's not cushy but the field is in a massive demand due to the nature of the pandemic. I'm doing well, financially, but since it requires me to travel extensively, I have not been home in a while. I have family back home, all unvaccinated. I am vaccinated myself. <br><br>I'm from the Midwest originally, but I work abroad in a country that has gone full maskeshit. <br><br>I have to travel here, there, test, quarantine, test, etc. I'm tired of it, I'm burnt out. I want to go back home. But my family, they are unvaccinated. In my current country of residence, if you are unvaccinated, you can't do anything. <br><br>I can't go home to visit, because my family will be unable to leave their house. Just to go outside they would need to be vaccinated. To go into any store, vaccinated, if you want to eat out at a restaurant, you guessed it, you have to be vaccinated. <br><br>I've heard rumors that the border is going to close and become more strict. I feel like at this rate, I may not see them for a long, long time. I am vaccinated but I am dreading the long process of tests and quarantines and a lockdown. <br><br>I'm so tired of this. I respect my family's decision but I also don't want to have to go through this bullshit every time I want to go home. I feel like my company is forcing me into this decision by forcing me to be vaccinated myself. It's just so frustrating.
