I'm a student worker at a department. A guy I saw online started working there and suddenly my department is being audited. A lot. How do I approach this?

This guy I knew from before, let's call him Steve, started working at the department I'm at. I know from past conversations, he didn't like me due to his friend liking me and feeling like he lost to me kind of. It was clear that he wasn't a fan of me. But I thought hey, maybe it's been a while and he's matured. The first time I saw him, he just ignored me.

Fast forward a few weeks. I come in to work one day and my boss is like hey, we're having an audit. I'm like oh that's no big deal. They only ask for receipts and we have them all nicely scanned and organized. Well, our auditor is Steve. He starts asking questions just about my things. I'm like ok maybe he just doesn't know who to ask. But then fast forward another week. I come in and my boss is like oh, we're having another audit. I'm like what, already? He's like yeah, the first audit didn't cover enough and we need to do another. But this time, I'm like this is getting weird and I go check who the auditor is, and it's Steve again.

This has now happened 3 more times, and I'm starting to get really fucking annoyed. It's clear he doesn't like me and is trying to get me in trouble. I just don't get why he doesn't like me, I've done nothing wrong. I'm a hard worker, I'm always present, and I'm always kind to everyone.

So to the men of Reddit. How would you approach this? Would you go to your boss and be like hey, I don't want to be audited by this guy? It feels very childish. How do I explain why I don't want to be audited by him? I don't want to be like I don't like him and I don't want to be audited by him because he's going to make it unfair. I also don't want my boss to think im lazy and I don't want to be audited.
