**Don't worry about grammar/punctuation/spelling when you write.**

Alot of people are always saying "Grammar is important" "You need to proofread" "Grammar is important". I recently wrote a post on this sub that's kinda similar but this one is to support a point I was making in my previous post and that is to write free of any rules or worries.

When you write and the first thing you think about is "Did I use the right verb" "Did I omit the noun" "Did I say this sentence right" that's just going to slow you down and probably not get you anywhere but on the right track. Now if you dont care about these things and just write you will go further than you will if you care about it.

You should also consider the fact that alot of people who do give advice about writing are either English Majors or hope to be. So they care about all of those things and if you dont care about them even when they tell you to, you will never find yourself in the situation where you have to listen to people you dont want to listen to.

You can't let alot of people interfere with what you want to do. Some people may say it's arrogant or egotistical to think that what you're doing is right and what others are doing is wrong and I myself have never said that. I am doing what works for me and right now it's working. I'm done with my first draft so I think it's working pretty well.

Judging whether or not I went on a tangent in this post is irrelevant to my point. What's important is that I got across what I was trying to say.

The only time you should care is when you're editing. Most likely you will be your own editor but you still need to give yourself the time to edit.
Givin what I said, most people wont want to believe me or will try to downplay my point. Do not allow yourself to become influenced or distracted by those people.
