What is the worst hotel you have ever stayed in? How bad was it?

This kind of came to my mind after my last stay at a hotel. It was nasty, but not the worst. <br><br><br>So what is the worst hotel you have stayed in and how bad was it?<br>Did anything happen to you or did staff go out of their way to make it bad for you in particular?<br>Was it cheap? Was it expensive?<br>Why is a hotel that bad still allowed to be a hotel<br>What made it so bad?<br><br>Here are the pictures of my last hotel vomit in the elevator, one of the beds, and the door handle. I stay in hotels 2-4 nights a week and have for years. This is the first hotel that I’ve had a truly bad experience at. <br><br>Edit: I forgot to mention that this was in the US and I paid $130 a night for a week stay, so not super expensive or dirt cheap. <br><br>Edit: I just found out that I had a permanent resident living in the next room over. So that explains a lot of the issues.
