They don't hate the media

Whenever someone complains about the media they're actually complaining about *intellectual discussion* and *journalism* but just don't have the intellectual capacity to differentiate between the two. <br><br>They won't care that they're being manipulated by advertisers as long as they're "sticking it to the media."<br><br>If you think that social media is a better source of truth then either a news-agency or a scientific report then you're simply a fucking idiot.
