Why do I want to kill someone who I know will become a mass shooter, but hasn’t yet committed the act?

Why do I feel this way? I think my logic is wrong, I don’t like the idea of killing people obviously, but I want to kill someone I know will kill a large amount of innocent people in the future before they can commit the act? Why?
